Michigan Designer Show Houses
For over the past 20 years, as a volunteer member of the Junior League of Detroit's Design Team, we have used our skills and
resources to create exciting, one of a kind rooms as a part of the bi-annual Designer Show Houses. The Junior League of Detroit is a nonprofit organization established in 1915 that aims to improve areas of Detroit that are in need. They have opened a center for the blind with the help of Helen Keller, a senior center, a playground at the Detroit Children’s Hospital, they have supported the preservation of Belle Isle and have developed both “Project Literacy” & “Project Eat” in the city.
For the bi-annual show houses, the Junior League of Detroit chooses a local estate and brings together a team of renowned Interior Designers from all over Michigan to transform the home into a Designer's Show House. These show houses help raise funds to support their many projects within the city. We have partnered with League members and other designers for many of these show houses to help create unique and memorable rooms for successful tours that generate thousands of dollars to be used in our communities as well as providing restoration to homes in need.
