Grosse Pointe Farms Lakefront

This project was a complete rebuild of a 70’s colonial home into a beautiful French Chateau Design. We worked closely along side the architect to raise the roof line of this home in order to create a dramatic exterior as well as allowing for vaulted ceilings and additional rooms on the upper level. The front porch was incorporated as a vision from the clients as well as a grand pool and patio area in the back for their entertaining needs. Large windows were incorporated along the front of the home to take advantage of the Lake St. Clair views and a series of French doors were installed along the back wall to access the new pool. Custom finishes throughout this home include iron railings in the foyer, vintage fireplace surrounds, antique iron doors on the wine cellar as well as the fireplace. We also used specialty chests for vanities in several bathrooms. Furnishings were a combination of new and vintage finds. This project represents the best in client and designer collaboration in order to create a personal and unique home. This home was sold as the highest per square foot price in Grosse Pointe history.
