Grosse Pointe Shores French Chateau

This was a remodel of a Colonial Styled house located directly on the waterfront of Lake St. Claire. The exterior was redone and freshly painted, a gym was added to the upstairs space, two bathrooms were completely renovated, the kitchen was remodeled, a wine cellar with custom glass doors was added and the entrance to the solarium was reconfigured as well.

The back stone patio was expanded to make space for a private grilling area and the back end of the house was opened up to capture the spectacular views and to help create a refined entertainment flow. Beautiful new wallcoverings, modern window treatments, and updated flooring mixed with vintage and custom furniture pieces bring a look of polished eclecticism

to the house. High gloss black doors and built-ins create a signature look throughout. The remodeled kitchen features

counter tops of exotic black marble, hardwood flooring to replace old tile, a new island that includes a cooktop

as well as seating, and custom designed cabinetry to create a kitchen that was made for entertaining.

The entrance to the solarium was opened up and features Gucci "Heron" wallpaper giving a burst of color

and glamour to the grand foyer. This project took a little over a year to complete.
